The 1st Annual ICE ON MAIN Festival is a community event hosted by Center City Development, in partnership with local businesses and organizations. It is an event developed at the request of community members and sponsors who enjoyed the very popular Ice Sculptures that were displayed during the Christmas festivities in 2007 and 2008. ICE ON MAIN will capture your imagination when art springs to life from frozen water, as artists carve sculptures from blocks of ice, which will then be displayed along Richmond’s picturesque Main Street, along with sponsors’ names.
